1. About TradeHelperUK

TradeHelperUK ("we", "us", "our") is a lead generation service connecting members of the public ("customers") with local tradespeople across Lancashire and the North West of England. We are not a trade business ourselves and do not carry out any work directly. Our registered trading address is in Lancashire, England.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website and submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website.

3. Our Service to Customers

When you submit a quote request via our website, we pass your contact details and job description to one or more local tradespeople relevant to your enquiry. This is a free service to you. We do not guarantee:

• That a tradesperson will contact you within any specific timeframe
• That quotes will meet any particular price
• The quality of work carried out by any tradesperson

Any contract for work is entered into directly between you and the tradesperson. TradeHelperUK is not a party to that contract.

4. Vetting of Tradespeople

We take reasonable steps to verify that tradespeople on our platform hold appropriate qualifications and insurance for their trade. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided to us by tradespeople and accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from work carried out.

Gas engineers must hold a valid Gas Safe registration. Electricians should hold NICEIC, NAPIT or equivalent accreditation. You are responsible for verifying credentials before work begins.

5. Lead Subscription Service (For Tradespeople)

Tradespeople who subscribe to receive leads agree to the following:

• Subscriptions are monthly and billed via Stripe. Prices are as shown on the /for-tradespeople/ page at the time of purchase.
• Territories are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a territory is taken, no other subscriber of the same trade will receive leads from that area.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial months.
• We do not guarantee a minimum number of leads per month. Lead volume depends on customer demand in your area.
• You must not use leads for any purpose other than contacting the customer regarding their stated enquiry.
• We reserve the right to remove a tradesperson from the platform if we receive valid complaints about conduct or quality of work.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and code, is the property of TradeHelperUK and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeHelperUK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on any information contained herein. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed £100.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
